ArtSite
Take
a tour of ArtSite
Create a teaching museum filled with worldwide art and student portfolios!
ArtSite turns your classroom computer or school network into a dynamic teaching resource filled with art and writing shared by teachers and students. Internet access is not requried!

Build your own Museum with free images and descriptions you select from museum websites. ArtSite gets you started with over 135 museum pages organized in 11 collection categories. Each page features a work of art, description, and project suggestions.
In ArtSite's Gallery, students become curators of their own art collections by exploring the ArtSite Museum and then writing a description or interpretation. They can also contribute new works of art. The ArtBlog gives students the opportunity to post comments on Gallery pages. Teachers approve the comments and can turn the blog on or off for each class.
Students contribute their studio art and writing to ArtSite's Portfolio, a searchable display of student art. Teachers can save the best Portfolio pages from each year to inspire new students.
If Internet access is available, teachers can guide students to useful websites with ArtSearch, a teacher customized Internet search engine.
Teacher's can customize ArtSite to any learning level, from grade 1 through college. For Mac, Windows, and Linux computers and most networks.
