Privacy: We will not sell or rent your name or email address to anyone, ever. We do not gather and save any of your personal information or collect any personal data. We do not have access to payment information because payment is made via PayPal secure payment processing or via the Apple Computer App store.

Registration: As part of the registration process, you will select a password and enter an email address. Failure to comply with the foregoing shall constitute a breach of these Terms of Service, which may result in immediate termination of your account.

Please notify us of any known or suspected unauthorized use(s) of your account.

Responsibility: Teachers (account holders) have the ability to delete all the ArtSite content including Museum, Gallery, and Portfolio pages and ArtSearch website links. They also have complete control over all their student records including registration information. Teachers are completely responsible for any information they share with their students or their community via the ArtSite Museum and ArtSearch as well as the resulting Portfolio and Gallery pages created by their students. Artsitenet.com has no liability regarding any information entered, shared, printed, or otherwise distributed among teachers, students and their community for any reason.

Teachers are also responsible for the access code entered by students for registration purposes. Any fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise illegal activity may be grounds for termination of your account at artsitenet.com's sole discretion.

ArtShare Guidelines: Any ArtShare content that artsitenet.com, in its sole discretion, deems offensive, will be removed without notice. Examples of offensive images include excessive violence or child exploitation, even if it is created by a noted artist. Offensive text includes racist or sexist comments. We will notify violators and reserve the rite to terminate any accounts for repeat violations. Upon termination, any previous payments will not be refunded.

Software: The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties or merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. In no event shall the copyright holders or anyone distributing the software be liable for any damages or other liability, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, arising from, out of or in connection with the software.

Copyright: ArtSite is owned by Leaning Post Productions. The structure, organization, code, documentation, digital images, and artistic works in ArtSite are protected by United States Copyright Law and International and Pan American Copyright Conventions.

Contributing art works to the Museum, Gallery, and Portfolio:
Copyrighted works displayed by teachers and students for noncommercial use are allowed under the "fair use" provision of the copyright act. This Provision states:
"Notwithstanding the provisions of sections 106 and 106A, the fair use of a copyrighted work, including such use by reproduction in copies or phonorecords or by any other means specified by that section, for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching (including multiple copies for classroom use), scholarship, or research, is not an infringement of copyright.

Data Storage: Uploaded images and information are stored on a server. Leaning Post Productions and artsitenet.com are not liable if there is an event which interrupts or disables service, resulting in lost data. Such an event would likely disrupt the Internet as a whole. It is always a good idea to save copies of uploaded images.
